Those days are over, and it looks like we all comprehend our role in stopping and possibly reversing the damage being done to our planet. The experts are agreed that we are unable to transform things for the better without everyone's active involvement. This should happen soon and living in ways more friendly to the environment should become a mission for every individual family. Here are a number of tips that can help you save energy, for the most part by making your kitchen more green.
Start with exchanging the light bulbs. Obviously you shouldn't confine this to only the kitchen. The typical light bulbs are the incandescent type, which should be replaced with compact fluorescent lightbulbs, which save energy. Although costing a little more originally, these bulbs last as long as ten of the conventional type as well as using a lot less energy. One of the pluses is that for every one of these lightbulbs used, it signifies that approximately ten normal lightbulbs less will end up at a landfill site. It goes further than just swapping the lights, though; turning off lights that aren't needed is actually another good thing to do. The family spends major time in the kitchen, and how often does the kitchen light go on in the morning and is left on all day long. This likewise occurs in the rest of the house, but we're trying to save money in the kitchen. Try keeping the lights off unless you absolutely need them, and see just how much electricity you can save.
From the above it ought to be clear that just in the kitchen, by itself, there are lots of little opportunities for saving energy and money. Environmentally friendly living is not that hard. Mostly, all it will take is a bit of common sense.

The recipe video posted on YouTube channel 'Beyond Dining Co By Chef Raji' uses two kinds of paan leaves - maghai paan and regular paan. But you can choose any paan leaves of your choice, or make the dish with just one variety. Betel leaf or paan is very popular in India. I'm very familiar with betel leaves or paan since childhood. My dad was a great fan of paan.
